Meet our team of highly skilled manual therapy providers .

Dr. Lee Brotherston

Dr. Brotherston earned a degree in Health Sciences with a specialization in kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.  He graduated with Honours, and highest distinction. He subsequently enrolled in the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he completed the 4-year program and achieved clinic honours along the way.

 

Dr. Brotherston utilizes a variety of techniques in order to help his patients achieve the results they are looking for – including acupuncture, ART, rehabilitation exercises, and chiropractic manual therapy. His entire approach is centered on patient education and recognizing that an informed patient is an empowered patient. In addition to his passion for helping others, Dr. Brotherston is very passionate about mountain biking, running, and spending time outdoors. He is a certified mountain bike coach through the Ontario Cycling Association, and coaches kids getting into the sport with the Durham Shredders. He has himself participated in numerous mountain bike races – including the infamous Crank the Shield 3 day stage race in Sault Ste. Marie, and countless 8 and 24 hour races.

Dr. Brotherston is also a clinical instructor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he oversees chiropractic interns during their clinical rotations.

Dr. Lynne Racette 

Naturopathic Doctor 

Dr. Racette completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at Laurentian University and completed her naturopathic medical program at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has a clinical focus and strong background in women’s health, endocrinology, pelvic floor, acupuncture, pediatrics, and dermatology. She has a prescribing license in Ontario and uses bio-identical hormone therapy, vitamin injections, and intravenous nutrition.

She is passionate about evidence-informed medicine and helping her patients simplify their health and get the results that they want and need. When she is not seeing patients, you can find her with power tools working on renovating her house, and walking her giant Newfoundland dog.

Laura Haars 

Registered Massage Therapist 

Laura graduated from Centennial College, with honours, in 2000. She has been a registered massage therapist for 18 years. In those years she has focused her practice on moderate to deep tissue work, trigger point therapy and acute and chronic shoulder conditions. Her treatments are all wellness oriented with the goal that her clients achieve their best self. Laura will work with you to combine massage and self care exercises to reach your goal. Laura also practices relaxation treatments that include hot stone therapy. 


Laura loves to surround herself with family, and enjoys nothing more than playing any sport with her girls.
